‘Because we can’ is a personal initiative (in collaboration with a fellow-student) to develop an online platform for design projects that students do besides their study. Initially it was set-up as a blog. But a focus group study revealed that the blog didn’t cover the values of the target group. So we developed a new ‘Because we can’ website that randomly features 12 projects for inspiration. A script calculates ‘uniqueness’ and translates this into a saturation value of the featured image.
