The international design semester at the Engineering College of Copenhagen consisted of several classes about engineering basics (such as 3D CAD, see image below) and an international multi-disciplinary design project. The teams consisted of students from different technological disciplines from different European countries. As the only student with a design background it was an interesting and challenging task to perform a design project.
We designed an adapted car interior for handicapped drivers. Peugeot was the client. The needs of handicapped drivers were already investigated. In this project we came up with a solution that enables people with missing limbs to drive in a comfortable and secure way.
